Asian Cities Against Drugs

The OBJECTIVES of the organization shall be:

1. To integrate legal, ethical and human rights dimension into the response to DRUGS epidemic.
2. To strengthen Cities, Individuals/ NGOs to participate in the organization at National and International level.
3. To assist in promoting and encouraging networking amongst NGOs and individuals with similar goals and/ or objectives so as to facilitate joint initiatives at solving problems.
4. To address the human rights of people affected by DRUG ABUSE in order to eradicate the discrimination and marginalization of such people.
5. To support public health interests by establishing an environment that enables people to protect themselves and others from DRUG ABUSE.
6. To support any action and approach which is effective against drug trafficking and Drug Abusing.
7. Procuring information and education materials, disseminate and propagate same for the purposes of encouraging a sustained behavioral change and promote positive living.
8. To hold the Mayor Conference annually.
9. To foster cooperation among similar organization at International level.
